| The Story of Echowood |
I have been in American Cockers since
1982. I started first obtaining obedience titles, then I bought
my first show dog and was into the fun and love of breeding for
confirmation. Over the years Echowood has received over 20 Am. Championship
titles. I showed my dogs and for others and received over 40 Canadian
Championship titles. I also did 12 International titles on my own
breedings.
I started out loving blacks and received my first show dog from Lipton Kennels and then bred my girls to dogs in Shenanigans Kennels and produced many nice blacks and black/tans. Then I saw my first Brown about 12 years ago and it was love at first sight. I was lucky to obtain Merlin from Roadshow Cockers and then started with my Brown line.
I have also been excited to see my breedings obtain European Titles with Truly Yours Kennels in Denmark.
I breed for quality, good temperament and health. I do OFA at 2 years and eyes cert. each year. I have puppies occasionally for show and pet companions. I am a member of Washington State Cocker Club since 1984 and ASC. I welcome all e-mail inquiries.
